Passionate, down to earth and caring counsellor, working with young people, adults and clients with neuro-diversities in Ayrshire. Always striving to offer a respectful, genuine, inclusive space for all.
My office is very central and only a couple of minutes’ walk from Kilmarnock train station and Kilmarnock bus station. There is ample on street parking outside and nearby (paid). My office is also close to motorway links and is easily accessible from Glasgow, Renfrewshire and the surrounding area.
My premises are not currently wheelchair accessible and are on the 1st floor. However, I can offer counselling via telephone, video chat, email or Instant Messenger.
The Counselling Environment
The Counselling space is somewhere that you should feel comfortable in and at ease. Careful consideration has been taken to minimise distractions from ticking clocks, strong smells, busy patterns and harsh lighting. The furniture in my room is comfortable and you can choose where to sit, there are blankets and cushions too.
I have objects in my room that anyone can use in our sessions and various materials to allow my clients to express how they feel. This may take the form of drawing, music, play or something different. It is really led by you. If there is anything that you feel you need in our sessions, I will try my best to accommodate it.
